Iceland was so beautiful! We went from Reykjavik to the glaciers northeast of Vik, the the Vestmann Islands, and up around the fjord in the nnorthwest. Loved it all. miss it already. Hot and muggy here in the states.

Superb cuisine in Iceland. The tap water is the best I ever sampled (just like top-notch pure bottled water). The landscape in Iceland is very interesting and picturesque (with all the glaciers and volcanic/lava formation of the terrain.

Very nice island! There are a lot of places to visit. Waterfalls, glaciars, geysers, mountains, lakes, volcanos, fiords... The best site for me was the Jokurlsarlon's Bay. The weather wasn't too much cold, but in some places the wind was horrible!

We were at sea for 9 days on a 60 foot sloop Aurora with Siggi and Smori to sail to 80 miles north of Jan Mayen island to bring my mother's ashes to be reunited with her husband at sea. What an adventure. Reykjavik is a great place to party and I loved the Icelandic horseriding.
