General information:
My location varies from UK to Spain, please see full description. I have 2 grown up children who live and work in Edinburgh, I dont consider I have any baggage, I believe in looking forward not back. I have recently become single again and share my life with a small dog, a cat and occasionally an extra puppy or 2 who need fostering. I am currently enjoying life in rural south west Spain, near a town called Ayamonte, on the Portuguese border, near the Algarve, having escaped the rat race 5 years ago. However, if I meet the right person, I would go where my heart takes me, maybe you could do that too? I also stay with friends in the uk, usually in the Sussex area, if you wanted to meet me. Or alternatively if we talk and get on really well, you could visit me in Spain. I have a lot of love and time to give to the right person and would want the same back, I believe in togetherness, life’s experiences whether good or bad are so much better when shared with a like minded partner. The good experiences, a beautiful view, stimulating conversation ,a great meal and wine, a moving film or book. The bad experiences of hurts and disappointments, when comforting arms and words are there for you. I try to answer all proper messages [not one liners!] from people whose profiles match what I am looking for, someone tall, preferably a non smoker.

Appearance:
I am of slim to medium build, in proportion to my height, a friendly happy outgoing person who enjoys the company of my friends and would rather be with people than sit in front of the tv or pc all day. When I do watch tv...I dont watch soaps, but enjoy wild life programmes, comedy like Frasier, films and good drama.

Looking for:
I am looking for an equal really, someone of a similar age who like me is solvent with no baggage, tolerant, happy and ready for the next exciting episode in their life. Someone with values and morals similar to my own, who believes in honesty, seeing the other persons point of view and sharing some dislikes as well as likes! Sorry but smoking is one of my dislikes. I do like intelligent, funny men who I can have stimulating, thought provoking conversation with. I prefer tall men ,over 5' 9", of slim to medium build, who make me feel protected. Someone who loves the idea of spending time with me in Spain, and would see that as a positive rather than what he would be missing in the uk, after all we can spend time there too. For the right person I would consider relocating or sharing our time between our homes. I am also more interested in men who have put some thought and effort into their profiles on here as it shows they are serious about this, and also gives a much better insight into their personality.
