I love to ski, although suffer vertigo, I love the unpretentious, uncomplicated and friendly attitude here, always quite literally mountains of snow and great kids clubs. Stowe also has the best Swiss ski instructor, and that includes all the instructors actually still ski-ing in Switzerland. Who needs the stress of lipstick and fur coats of St Moritz or Cortina, when you are there to ski!
