Wonderful celebrations at the ordination at Kingasani...memorable dances and colourful liturgy. Hot with mosquitos but the cold Primus and Skol was nice and soothing. The airport experience was terrible.
Seoul, South Korea @ Seoul and Kwangju: such greenery and hills of tremendous beauty. (Synod of Passionist International.) 2002-10-10
Vice Province of Korean Martyres becoming Province. A wonderful experience. Visited Buddhist Monastery. Most interesting. The 10,000 genuflecions and the process of joining, falling in and out of monastic love for 7 times in a life time. Broad, is it not!|
Entebbe, Uganda @ Benedictine Monastery at Tororo and then Kampala and Entebbe. (Visiting my friends Gabby en later da Reparatrix nuns at Entebbe.) 2001-10-01
The source of the Nile at Jinja was a wonderful beauty to behold. The Ugandan Martyres Shrine at Namugongo...so inspiring. Half London downtown for an evening drink and the Baganda Dance were interesting... The Bottanical Gardens at the shores of Lake Victoria were another touch stone experience...the water looked polluted.
